John
Languell, C-SAPA is and has been an expert in
the field of substance abuse prevention programs for more than 25
years. His career in substance abuse program management began
in the US Navy about 1980. In 1988 when DOT regulations
created an industry for mandated drug testing, John took the
challenge to become a recognized expert in the field.
In October of 1989 John and his wife Sarah became
two of the founding members of SAPAA.
SAPAA is an international professional organization promoting
standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism in the
administration of workplace substance abuse prevention
programs. John and Sarah each served a term as a member of the
SAPAA board.
SAPAA created a certification commission know as SAPACC.
John sat for, and passed, the first test administered by SAPACC
in July of 1997.
John became BAT (Breath Alcohol Technician)
certified in October 1994 and teaches BAT Classes and the use of the
Intoximeter
(Evidential Breath Tester). John is also a Certified
Professional Collector Trainers (CPCT) certified by DATIA (Drug and
Alcohol Testing Industry Association). |
